For over four years now, a percentage of every cooking class we share with you directly funds Avistando Perú, our independent environmental education project dedicated to conservation. A project created to educate, inspire, and protect what is most valuable to us: our biodiversity.

Environmental education is key to long-term sustainability. Developing a deeper understanding of the natural world and its importance in our daily lives is crucial to reducing the negative human impact on ecosystems.

Avistando Perú uses the natural empathy that birds awaken in people to educate and involve Peruvians in appreciating nature and understanding the need for healthy ecosystems.

Through monthly episodes, mini-documentaries, and other audiovisual content, Avistando Perú—the first Peruvian birdwatching channel—brings the astonishing lives of birds into Peruvian homes in their own language, hoping to spark a genuine interest that connects people more deeply with nature.

Thanks to this initiative and your cooking class reservations, we’ve already produced over 100 episodes that have reached thousands of Peruvians.
