Our culinary tour consists of an evening exploring the streets of Cusco in order to try some of the city’s best street eats from strategically chosen points as well as visiting one of the city’s top restaurant located in the historic center alongside our chef that will guide us and share with us untold and sometimes unusual stories of the streets and locales we visit.

    • STEP 1: THE BEGINNING
      Our chef will greet you with a refreshing Chilcano de Pisco cocktail, setting the tone for a unique journey through Peru's rich culinary heritage. You'll discover local ingredients, explore the vibrant flavors of Peruvian cuisine, and learn why it's renowned worldwide. Savor delightful bites made with alpaca and cuy, as our chef shares fascinating insights into the history and culture behind each dish.
    • STEP 2: A ENCEVICHARNOS
      In our restaurant UCHU Peruvian Steakhouse, where you'll indulge in a flavorful tiradito—a dish influenced by Japanese cuisine—and a delicious stuffed potato (papa rellena), as well as a general discussion about Peruvian gastronomy.
    • STEP 3: PISCO SOUR TIME
      During our visit to UCHU Peruvian Steakhouse, you'll enjoy a perfectly paired appetizer with a refreshing Pisco Sour and special marinated olives, aged for 15 days. As you savor each bite, we'll explore the unique aspects of Peruvian gastronomy, turning every taste into a deeper discovery of Peru’s rich culinary traditions.
    • STEP 4: LET´S GO OUT!!!
      After our visit to UCHU Peruvian Steakhouse, we'll head out to the streets, where our first stop will be a traditional tamale stand. These delicious tamales follow the rich Cusqueñan tradition, and we’ll also take the opportunity to talk about the importance of corn in Peruvian cuisine..
    • STEP 5: A “HEART”-FELT EXPERIENCE
      Let's we will continue with a dish that blends Moorish, African, and Peruvian influences, our flavorful anticuchos will be enjoyed at one of the most iconic spots in the Inca city, the Intikijllu or Sun Alley. Here, we’ll also dive into a discussion about the rich history and vibrant flavors of Peruvian street food.
    • STEP 6: “PICARONES”
      To finish, we’ll visit a picarones stand. This traditional dessert has gained popularity across the country. Often called the “Peruvian donut,” picarones are even more flavorful, offering a unique blend of sweet and crispy goodness..
